Continuous Growth Mindset
One hour
The past few years have been some of the most disruptive in business in recent
memory. Many companies, and people, struggled to survive while others thrived.
After speaking with hundreds of executives, working with dozens of companies
and reflecting on his own business, John identified three core characteristics
of the companies that kept growing through it. This keynote covers what he
learned, how he applied it to his own personal challenges, and how you can
too.
02
The Age of the Sales Rep
45 to 60 minutes
The fundamentals of sales have not changed much, but a great deal else has and
will continue to, faster than ever. There are new methodologies, tactics,
approaches and technologies for reps to master alongside product knowledge and
admin. Buyers have more options and less tolerance than ever for outdated
tactics and forced processes. Agility is the number one competitive advantage
in this market, and this keynote gives teams a framework to test different
approaches across the sales process and find what works for them. Clients pick
three topics from sales ready messaging, cold calling, cold emailing,
negotiations and objection handling.
03
Sales Ready Messaging
60 to 90 minutes, includes a team exercise
Developing messaging for outbound prospecting is one of the biggest challenges
reps and companies face in driving consistent quality meetings at the top of
the funnel. Usually marketing writes the messaging and sales drops it into
generic sequences and presses play, or every rep writes their own and there is
no consistency. Neither drives alignment or predictable results. This session
teaches a specific messaging equation that sales and marketing can use to build
messaging reps will actually use in email, calls and video, aligned to personas
in specific industries and to timely triggers. The team exercise afterwards
produces a deliverable the reps take ownership of.
04
Objective Negotiations
60 to 90 minutes, includes a team exercise
Negotiating takes many forms, but training too often focuses on the subjective,
nuanced side, which is hard to replicate without a solid foundation. Focusing
on the objective components instead creates a common language that can be
measured and coached. This session covers the gives and the gets of
negotiations and the importance of equality through the process, and you build
your own scorecard to measure the health of any opportunity in your pipeline.
It tells you which deals are real and worth working and which to walk away
from, and it improves forecast accuracy considerably.
